Meaning
Om, salutations to the Guru — both the spiritual teacher and Brihaspati, the planetary deity of wisdom, knowledge and expansion. The second is Brihaspati's bija mantra for astrological purposes.

Chanted on Thursdays for wisdom, guidance and success in education, marriage and spiritual growth; also used to strengthen a weak Jupiter (Guru) in one's birth chart.
