Om Dyauh Shantir Antariksham Shantih Prithvi Shantir Apah Shantir Oshadhayah Shantih, Vanaspatayah Shantir Vishvedevah Shantir Brahma Shantih Sarvam Shantih Shantireva Shantih Sa Ma Shantiredhi. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
Meaning
Om, may there be peace in heaven, peace in the atmosphere, peace on earth, peace in the water, peace in the herbs and plants, peace in the trees, peace in the celestial beings, peace in Brahman (the absolute), peace in all things, and may that peace come to me. From the Yajurveda, this mantra invokes peace across all realms of existence.
When & Why It Is Recited
Chanted at the start and end of Vedic recitations, yajnas and yoga sessions, and to conclude any spiritual gathering, invoking harmony between the individual and the cosmos.
