About this Festival

Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha. Elaborate clay idols of Ganesha are installed in homes and public pandals. For 10 days, devotees offer prayers, modak (sweet dumplings), and other sweets before the final immersion.
